I’m glad that Drake is basically a good guy but I still don’t like anyone lying to Liv. He is pushed to give his association with Liv up because it will risk blowing his cover, but he refuses to. Well, I’m relieved to learn this week that he is actually an undercover cop infiltrating Boss’ organization under the supervision of guest star/ Veronica Mars alum Enrico Colantoni. Last week, we learned that Drake was working for Stacey Boss. She even gets away with it by convincing her boyfriend to take the blame. On iZombie, she plays Cher, the daughter of the coffee shop owner, and it turns out she was the one who killed her. Rohl was the tragically beautiful Abigail Hobbs on Hannibal, adopted murder daughter to murder husbands Will and Hannibal. Apparently I should have looked at more than just that one place, because the reason I kept thinking it was her is because it TOTALLY was and I feel stupid. I even looked on IMDB to see if it was in her filmography but it wasn’t. I missed the names of the guest stars in the credits, so literally the WHOLE time, I kept going, “That girl looks SO MUCH like Kacey Rohl.” I could not get over it. I loved when Clive and Liv were questioning the girl at the register and asked to talk to a manager and she said, “We’re all co-managers.” That sums it up perfectly. It is truly like the happy workplace from hell. Actually, the whole coffee shop would drive me insane. This week, Liv eats the brains of a peppy, uber-positive coffee shop owner who has bought into too much self-help and would honestly drive me nuts. I trust them implicitly and I am so impressed by the rich, interwoven story tapestry they have created for us.Īnd on top of all of that juggling, they are still able to keep the cases of the week fresh and fun. I have to admit that sometimes I get a little lost and I have trouble keeping track of all the details, but I recognize that the writers are smarter than I am. The past few episodes have been extremely heavy on the plot and it just seems to get more complex all the time. One of the things Sean likes most about iZombie is how well it balances the case-of-the-week with the ongoing plot, and it does do that brilliantly. Conversion is not complete but we’re getting there – he’ll be a full-fledged Brainie in no time! He would just be putzing around on the computer or whatever at first, but he’s been asking questions and getting more and more into it because, well, it’s obviously AMAZING! He just jumped into season two, but I hope to be able to get him to watch from the beginning. ![]() He is hesitant about taking on new shows, particularly when it involves backtracking to past seasons, but I am proud to say that I have mostly converted him to the iZombie fandom by me just rewatching recent episodes when we hang out on Friday nights, at no obligation to him. Naturally, I want to share something I love so much with the person I love the most in the world – my fiancé Sean. ![]() I am so passionate about this show that I want to shout it from the tallest mountains and share it with everyone.
